FAQ's

When does the gap year program begin?

 Between 2nd - 7th of September 

When does the gap year program end?

 Between 1st - 5th June 

Are friends & family permitted to visit?

Yes, friends and family are always welcome.

What sacraments and devotions are available?

Confession and daily Mass. Adoration & benediction every Thursday evening. 

Is the program only for men?

 At this point in time, yes. 

What are the costs?

The program is designed specifically to help students as much as possible. Therefore, lodging is free. Living costs with regards to food etc., would cost approximately €200-€300 per month, or approximately €2,000 for the whole year. Although lodging is free, a donation towards the living quarters, in order to cover utilities and also help improve things, would be greatly appreciated.

Who will be responsible for us?

 Your welfare is the responsibility of the senior of the fraternity

Who organises our schedule?

You will organise your schedule together with the senior of the fraternity  

How is the schedule organised?

The schedule is organised into common parts and particular parts. The common parts are the moments when all the guys come together, whilst the particular parts are designed around the particular activities you choose to pursue. 

What activities do you offer as part of the schedule of the day?

Farming, construction work, automotive maintenance and mechanics, French, German, Italian, home economics, classes at the University of Malta, gym sessions, boxing, wrestling, scuba diving, Latin, Greek and History. Other activities might be possible, feel free to ask. 

Is it possible to get a paying job?

Yes.
